Risk Assessment

Our team conducts a thorough on-site inspection to identify potential hazards, such as unstable trees, overhead wires, nearby structures, or uneven terrain. We assess the risks associated with each task and consider factors such as tree species, size, condition, and environmental conditions.

Hazard Mitigation

Once potential risks are identified, we implement measures to mitigate them. This may include roping off the work area, using personal protective equipment (PPE), establishing safe work zones, and securing tools and equipment.

Method Statement Development

Based on the risk assessment, we develop a detailed method statement outlining the sequence of work, equipment to be used, techniques to be employed, and safety precautions to be taken. This document serves as a guide for our team members and ensures that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Training and Certifcation

Our tree care professionals undergo extensive training and hold relevant certifications, including arborist certifications, chainsaw operation certifications, and first aid training. This ensures that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely carry out tree work tasks.

Communication and Coordination

Effective communication is essential for safe tree work operations. Our team members communicate openly with each other and with clients to ensure that everyone is aware of the work being undertaken and any associated hazards.

Regular Monitoring and Review

Throughout the tree work process, we continuously monitor conditions and reassess risks as necessary. We adapt our approach as needed to maintain safety and ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with our method statement.
